Equine Tensegrity Balancing Therapy
( Level 1 Student )
Equine Tensegrity Balancing Therapy is a holistic approach that combines principles from Tensegrity with equine bodywork. Tensegrity refers to the balance and stability achieved through the distribution of tension and compression within the body.
By supporting the horse in achieving a more balanced structural integrity, force transfers throughout the body can become more effective, thereby reducing compensation. This approach will address the fascia, muscles, and joints, enhance the horse's proprioception and spatial awareness, and promote relaxation and reduce stress.
The owner will receive training in specific homework exercises to support lasting changes and help the horse rebalance its posture and movement.
Equine Tensegrity Balancing Therapy is commonly used to address:
Recovering from injuries or illness
Adressing compensation patterns
Back pain or stiffness
Performance issues or decreased athletic ability
Behavioural issues
