Pre-Session Considerations
To ensure a successful session:
Choose an open space like an arena or round pen (a small area of the arena is sufficient)
Schedule a time that works best for your horse:
Avoid feeding times (ensure your horse has had a snack beforehand)
Select a fairly quiet time at the facility (some riders in the arena are okay, but avoid conflicting with lessons)
Ensure your horse has not been ridden immediately prior to the session and has adequate rest time (up to 24 hours) afterward
DISCLAIMER:
Any of the offered Equine Bodywork sessions are not a replacement for proper veterinary care. If your horse is recovering from illness/injury/surgery/lameness or is intermittent lame, it is the horse owners responsibility to obtain clearance from your vet that Equine Bodywork and training is appropriate for your horse.
