Myofascial dysfunction release (MFR) is a technique that targets the fascia, a network of connective tissue that surrounds muscles. By releasing tension in the myofascia, this approach can help horses overcome pain and stiffness, improve range of motion and flexibility, and enhance overall performance.
MFR can be applied while the horse is in a stationary position, allowing for targeted release of tension in specific areas.
Or, MFR can be applied while the horse is moving, which helps to integrate the changes in movement patterns and promote more efficient and effective movement. With Biotensegrity Training balance and stability are addressed through the distribution of tension and compression within a balanced body system.
The owner, will learn daily exercises to promote lasting changes in your horse's movement and functionality. These exercises, practiced in standing and in motion, will help establish long-term improvements in your horse's well-being.
