Our Services
Every horse deserve to get support for optimal body function. This could be for starting their career as riding horse and learning from the ground how to carry themselves correctly before learning to carry an additional rider weight. Or it could be that a horse need to recover from an injury, from ulcers with lots of belly tension or re-learning movement patterns to decrease stress on ligaments or tendons by using its body more functional. Or a horse developed behaviour issue during daily handling or under saddle and might have an underlying body discomfort issue.
I am offering different approaches to provide the best and most suitable one for your horse - or I might even start with one and transition into another one.
Masterson Method
The Masterson Method® is a unique, interactive method of equine bodywork to help the horse releasing tension in core muscles, soft tissue and key body junctions. By addressing built-up tension, the overall well-being and performance of the horse can be improved.
with the horse’s nervous system. The horse actively participates in the process and its subtle body language guides the session. With light touch and movements the horse’s nervous system gets supported to release tension. Stress, stiffness and built-up tension in core muscles and key body junctions can be addressed and the overall well-being and performance can be improved.
Myofascial Dysfunction release with Biotensegrity Training
The horse’s daily life has an impact on their body’s functionality (from living situation, food to training and work). Compensation is the flexibility of the body to cope with challenges which is good. If compensation patterns are the daily ‘normal‘, it might lead to myofascial dysfunctions which can lead to secondary issues (for example: An infunctional thoracic sling can lead to front limb or back pain issues).
Addressing myofascial dysfunctions static and in motion can help to reduce restrictions and can create greater ability to learn more functional movement patterns.
In Biotensegrity Training from the ground, the horse is supported to move out of restrictions and explore new movement patterns to gain more flexibility towards daily challenges and establish healthier movement patterns.

body is a biotensegral system in which the fascia holds everything together and in place. Because of living situation, teeth or hoof issues, injuries, metabolic issues, tack problems, training problems and over all, carrying the weight of a rider, horses can develop compensations in their body which can lead to myofascial dysfunctions.
With Myofascial dysfunction releases we can work on a more balanced and less compensated body system which is done in standing and in motion. Quite often the initial focus is on stabilizing the thorax by activating the thoracic sling with Biotensegrity Training. This training in done from the ground in hand and is a preparation to get back in the saddle. The horse will learn how to use the fascial system to expand against the pressure from saddle and riders and move stabile, efficient and healthy.
Upcoming: Cranial sacral Therapy
Cranial sacral Therapy is a very gentle approach which can restore balance in cranial and body bones, the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid from the brain to the sacrum and with that the functionality of the central nervous system. The overall body functions can improve, restrictions through injuries and traumas can be addressed.
and can support the body to restore movement in bones and in the cerebrospinal fluid to regain balance within the central nervous system which can improve all body functions.
(Cranial sacral Therapy is a well- established modality for humans)
The brain is protected by the skull and the spinal cord by the vertebrae. Around these central nervous structures is a complex system of meninges and cerebrospinal fluid for further protection, nourishment and ‘waste’ removal as well as providing optimal circumstances for nerve impulse transmission. By a trauma to the head or the body, the natural flow of the cerebrospinal fluid and the movement of bones can be affected and have a negative impact on the central nervous system function.
Equine Balancing Tensegrity Therapy Student Level 1
Equine Tensegrity Balancing Therapy is a therapeutic modality that views the horse's body as a cohesive, integrated structure. It treats all bodily systems, tissues, and structures equally, recognizing their importance in maintaining a three-dimensional form capable of coherent motion against gravity. This approach emphasizes balancing structural integrity with the effective transfer of forces throughout the body, focusing on the oscillation of load as a cornerstone of restoration.
